Howard Lane Senior School started on 1st April, 1985 under Shri Gian Gaurav Chopra Public High School Educational and Welfare Society, Machhiwara, which is non-proprietary in nature. The members of the society consist of public men of repute from different prominent fields such as education and business, all of whom are respectable citizens of character. The school got affiliation from PSEB in 1994 up to Secondary classes and was upgraded to Senior Secondary (Humanities) in 2002 and for Senior Secondary (Commerce) in 2006.
At present, the school is spread over 2 acres of land, featuring a very impressive campus with a double-storey building and well-equipped labs. In 2015, the school gained affiliation for Secondary classes with CBSE, New Delhi, and was upgraded to Senior Secondary classes (Medical, Non-Medical, and Arts) in 2019 and Senior Secondary (Commerce) in 2020 from CBSE, New Delhi. Smart classrooms were introduced in the school with the motive of all-around development of the child. Over the years, the school has maintained a strong focus on academic excellence, character development, and the holistic growth of its students, preparing them for success in a dynamic world.
